The 3M Peltor™ Combat Arms Earplugs CAE 4.1 are high-quality, semi-active earplugs specifically designed for demanding military use. This version comes from original Dutch Army stock and offers reliable, standard-compliant protection (EN352-2:2002) in a variety of operational scenarios – whether on the shooting range, during hunting, or in military operations.

A special highlight is the practical, mechanical rocker switch, which can be operated effortlessly even with tactical gloves. It allows for quick switching between two protection modes:

• Open Mode (16 dB SNR): Provides partial noise reduction. Important conversations, commands, and ambient sounds remain audible, while dangerous impulse noise peaks like gunshots are reliably reduced.

• Closed Mode (28 dB SNR): Offers high, continuous hearing protection. Ideal for constant noise from vehicles, aircraft, ships, or generators.

The earplugs require no power supply or batteries and feature a soft stabilizer for a secure and comfortable fit in the ear canal. A compact plastic case is included for hygienic storage. Additionally, two polyester cords (neon yellow for training, black for combat use) are included in the set.
