The CALLIDA® Norka Bivy Tent is an absolute high-end bivy system, specifically developed as a mobile observation and survival shelter for Polish special forces. Designed as an original piece of equipment according to strict military standards (Model 731/MON / Wzór 731), this professional shelter far surpasses conventional, civilian bivy bags in terms of performance, protection factor, and durability.

The heart of the "Norka" is the high-performance PTFE 3-layer laminate, offering uncompromising protection under the most extreme weather conditions. The outer layer, made of 100% polyamide, features a special ripstop weave to guarantee maximum tear resistance. Beneath it lies the highly efficient two-component PTFE-based membrane (comparable to GORE-TEX® Gas Permeable Technology). It is absolutely wind and waterproof, yet effectively wicks water vapor and moisture from the inside out. A fine polyamide mesh on the inside protects the membrane and ensures a comfortable indoor climate.

Thanks to the internal, elastically connected aluminum pole system, the head and chest area are raised to a comfortable height of approx. 60 cm. This not only ensures a restful sleep without a cramped feeling but also provides enough space for hours of observation or handling equipment in the dry interior. Entry is flexible from both the front and the side. All zippers are from the market leader YKK® and are perfectly protected from weather influences by wide cover strips with snap fasteners. In addition, all seams are specially sealed (taped) to prevent moisture from entering.
