The material of the BW poncho is breathable, waterproof, and equipped with IRR protection according to TL 8305-0290.

The poncho is universally applicable as rain protection, tent, lean-to, wind or camouflage protection, groundsheet or cover tarp, or for waterproof packing. In conjunction with a poncho liner, the poncho can also be used as a summer sleeping bag.
