German Armed Forces Multipurpose Tarp Special Forces 3-layer laminate.

The material is breathable, waterproof and equipped with IRR protection according to TL 8305-0290. The tarp has 12 or 16 attachment loops made of robust webbing all around and 3 in the middle.

Tarps or bashas are suitable for building camouflaged bivouacs or observation posts, for sealing shelters against moisture from above, as simple wind, rain and sun protection in the form of a lean-to/pitched roof, sleeping bag cover or simply for covering and camouflaging equipment. The application possibilities are almost unlimited. The basha is simply stretched between trees/bushes using bungees (elastic cords with hooks) or ropes attached to the numerous existing attachment points.
